Vision Platform Ltd supports The Ocean Decade

 Vision Platform Ltd has been supporting the Ocean Decade since its incorporation. The Ocean Decade is a global initiative launched by the United Nations to promote the sustainable use and conservation of the world's oceans over the next ten years (2021-2030). The initiative aims to mobilize governments, businesses, civil society, and the general public to work together to achieve the following six objectives: 

1. A clean ocean - To prevent and significantly reduce marine pollution of all kinds, in particular from land-based activities, including plastic, nutrients, and hazardous substances.

2. A healthy and resilient ocean - To support the restoration of ocean ecosystems and mitigate ocean acidification, deoxygenation, and other impacts of climate change.

3. A predicted ocean - To strengthen our knowledge and understanding of the ocean and its ecosystems, including the impacts of human activities, to inform decision-making and management.

4. A safe ocean - To ensure the safety and security of human activities in the ocean, including navigation, fisheries, and marine conservation.

5. A transparent and accessible ocean - To improve ocean data and information exchange, and provide open access to scientific data, information, and technology.

6. An inspiring and engaged ocean -To raise public awareness of the value and importance of the ocean, and promote the participation and involvement of all stakeholders in ocean governance and management.

The Ocean Decade represents a unique opportunity to address the many challenges facing the world's oceans, and to promote their sustainable use and conservation for the benefit of current and future generations. Vision Platform Ltd supports this by creating products that are ecofriendly and eradicate marine pollution.
